Greetings!
Last week we spoke of "Green Tomatoes" and we got some feedback.

There was lot of suggestions for fried recipes for tomatoes, so we will share some links for delicious things to do with our summer surpluses.

I used this hot bath Bread and Butter Pickle recipe out of my Better Homes & Gardens cook book for the last two years. GOSH it is good!

If you want to try a Refrigerator Bread & Butter recipe, this one from Botanical Interest is almost identical, and looks quite yummy.

The National Center for Home Food Preservation , has tons of information, with the basics on all kinds of food preparations.

As far as Dill Pickles go, you can do a hot bath or refrigerator as well. This is the next one I will do.... Kittencal's Easy Refrigerator Dill Pickles .

Tomatoes are are another big topic.

I am dying to try this simple Garlic Roasted Cherry Tomato dish.... Oh my!

Take a look at our Pinterest Foodies Board for some really great ideas on using up your summertime surpluses.... or just to drool.;)

AND last but not least Fried Green Tomatoes ! I have never made this before, but after looking at this recipe, I'm having a hard time concentrating on my work...
