Third and Final Session of "Health Coverage Decision Making for Nonprofits in a
Critical Year of Change" Series
On October 11th, we hosted the third and final session of our series on health care. The last session,
"Time to Choose: Preparing for Your Open Enrollment" was led by Peter Andrews, CEO of
Council Services Plus
. This session covered alternative funding options, such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) through a case study of
merican Institute for Stuttering Treatment
and Altman Foundation. Our series, funded by
NY Community Trust
and hosted by
was a huge success. One participant had this to say: "When I signed up for the series, my organization was considering moving to a new PEO and we wanted to better understand our health insurance options. The session helps us be more informed about what options to offer our staff."
