JARI and the PA CareerLink of Cambria County's Recruitment and Training Initiatives were featured as a Best Practice Workshop at the Pennsylvania Employment, Training and Education Conference held May 6-8 in Hershey, PA.  The conference is the premier gathering of workforce development professionals and one of the largest workforce conferences in the country.

Debi Balog, JARI's Workforce Development Director and Jeff Dick, Site Administrator for PA CareerLinks of Cambria and Somerset Counties presented the workshop that included an employer testimonial video clip of Shawn Kaufman, HR Manager for Riggs Industries and Co-chair of JARI's Manufacturing Consortium.

Ben Herdman, a Greater Johnstown Senior High School student enrolled in the Engineering & Technology program, produced the video.  We were proud to represent our region in showcasing our innovative programs, accomplishments and most importantly our partnerships in workforce development.
