Spotlight on Grace: 150 Voices Raised in Praise

Please don't miss a special
RSCM Evensong
here at Grace Church:
Friday, August 5, at 5:00pm!

The Royal School of Church Music Summer Course will take place in Newport from August 1 to 7. Over 150 choristers will gather to study, rehearse, play and perform. Vince Edwards, our Director of Music, will be on the faculty overseeing the services of Morning Prayer and Compline.

On Friday, August 5, the course's "Providence Day" culminates with Evensong here at Grace Church at 5 PM. This promises to be a magnificent service with a choir of 150! Please plan to join us, invite a friend... and by all means please wear cool and comfortable clothing! Because our new gathering space is presently under construction next to the church, we are unable to offer parking for this event. Thank you for planning accordingly, and for your understanding.

RSCM America is the branch of the Royal School of Church Music in the United States. Their goal is to uplift the spiritual life of our communities through high quality choral music. They provide musical education to singers through a structured choral music program and summer music courses. They provide support to music directors through an organizational forum which facilitates the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Through their efforts to raise the quality of choral music performance, they have touched the lives of multitudes of singers and listeners.
