Graduation & Commencement
If you are planning on graduating this Winter, Spring, or Summer 2018 Quarter, please review the
graduation checklist to determine eligibility for graduation. Information about the graduation process is also available on the
Registrar's
Office website.
GWT Requirement
- All persons who receive undergraduate, graduate, or external degrees from CPP must satisfy the Graduate Writing Test (GWT) requirement. Graduate Students are advised to take the GWT upon admission to the university.
- A registration hold is placed upon the completion of 8 units if students still have not taken the GWT. If the GWT equivalent has been taken at another CSU, a request can be made for the GWT to be waived.
- Please visit the Test Center for more information on the GWT.

Financial Aid & Funding Opportunities
MENTORES/PPOHA Grant
- $3,500 Scholarship opportunity is available to Graduate students in the STEM fields. Application Deadline is Friday, Feb. 9th.

Paula Sandoval Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was created to encourage and recognize graduate students who have overcome serious obstacles or struggles in their lives to get to and/or through college.
- Two $800.00 scholarships are available for currently enrolled CPP graduate students or CPP undergraduate seniors admitted to a Master’s or Credential program at CPP in Fall 2018 semester.

About our Staff
Congratulations to Daynie J. Rivera Lopez, and Eric P. Arias, student assistants in the Office of Graduate Studies, who will be graduating Winter 2018.
Daynie will be receiving her bachelor of science degree in Communications, and Eric will be graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in Gender, Ethnicity, and Multicultural Studies. Eric plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling in the near future, and Daynie will be launching into the world of media and news. Thank you to our student assistants who help support our graduate students! We wish them all the best!
