Dr. Henry Jarecki!
German President Joachim Gauck awards Dr. Jarecki "Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit" of the Federal Republic of Germany for
contributions to German-American relations, and to both countries' scholar rescue programs.
This is the highest tribute Germany can pay to individuals for service to the nation.
The award ceremony to celebrate this honor will occur in Germany later this year.
