Grand Champions' Juancito Bollini Named
U.S. Polo Assn. Global Brand Ambassador
WELLINGTON, FL--October 12, 2017---Juancito Bollini, one of the sport's young rising stars, has been named global brand ambassador for U.S. Polo Assn.

Bollini, the son of former 8-goal player Juan Bollini of Argentina, has been featured in several previous ad campaigns and will be part of the brand's global advertising efforts geared toward millenials.

Juancito Bollini shares podium with USPA East Coast Open champion Audi teammates in 2015.

Bollini, 21, a senior at Florida Atlantic University, has grown up playing polo and honing his skills with some of the world's top players at Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington and its' sister club Aspen Valley Polo Club in Carbondale, Colo.

Bollini, rated at 3 goals, has played every level of polo. In 2013, he played for Audi during the 20- and 26-goal seasons as a substitute for team captain and patron Marc Ganzi. He is a two-time national champion and was MVP in the 2014 USPA National Youth Tournament Series. At 19, he was a member of Audi's winning USPA East Coast Open team at Greenwich Polo Club in 2015. He also won the 2015 20-Goal Herbie Pennell Cup with Casablanca teammates Grant Ganzi, Miguel Novillo Astrada and Nic Roldan.

Born in polo hotbed Argentina, the Wellington High School graduate credits his father and Ganzi family who he calls his "second family" for helping him become the polo player he is.

Juancito Bollini plays against his father Juan Bollini.

"I always wanted him to play polo," said Juan Bollini, who started late in the game in his early 20s and was 3 goals at age 23. "I love the game and it's done so much for me. I hope one day he is 10 goals and better than me."

Bollini was exposed to the game at an early age watching his father play in Argentina, England and the U.S. The versatile athlete played tennis, soccer, golf and rugby but polo became his passion.

"It's the sport I love the most," Bollini said. "My dad taught me everything I know. I am always thinking what he would do when I am playing and I mix everything he taught me with how I want to play.

"You never know how good you are going to get. It's how much you like the sport and how much you are willing to put into it. You absorb everything that everybody tells you and never let it go."

Bollini gives much of the credit to the Ganzis, longtime friends, who have treated him like another son and given him  opportunities to ride on well-bred, world-class horses and compete at various tournaments and levels.

"Marc and Melissa are the most generous people I know," Bollini said. "They have given me everything and thanks to them I am playing."

Bollini will be joined by Ashley Van Metre Busch as another global brand ambassador for U.S. Polo Assn. Busch, 27, is an equestrian, polo player and wife of NASCAR champion Kurt Busch. Busch of Middleburg, Va.-based Altair Polo, competes at Grand Champions during the spring season.

"As our global brand ambassadors and competitive polo players, they are another amazing example of the authentic connection of our brand to the sport of polo that our consumers have come to love and appreciate all over the world," said USPA Global Licensing Inc. COO J. Michael Prince in a prepared statement.

Bollini will compete in this week's USPA Fall Classic that begins on Thursday at Santa Rita Polo Farm's Buenos Aires and Aspen Fields. Bollini will play for Casablanca with teammates Grant Ganzi, Team USPA member Cacho Galindo and former 10-goaler Mike Azzaro.

The USPA Fall Classic is the third of six medium goal tournaments during the fall season. In the first two tournaments of the season, Audi won the Tackeria Invitational and Casablanca won the US Trust Cup.

Grand Champions is one of only two clubs in the nation to host two 20-goal tournaments, the USPA North American (Oct. 27-Nov. 5) Cup and USPA National 20-Goal (Nov. 8-19) in the fall.

The highlight of the season is the Nov. 25 doubleheader with the Carlos Gracida Memorial Legends of Polo and International Cup pitting defending champion Team USA against Brazil.

During the fall season, roster lineups change from
