Tollgate Farm Park
1300 S North Bend Way, North Bend
Si View Metro Parks would like to invite you to celebrate two recently achieved major milestones at the beloved Tollgate Farm Park in North Bend with a guided history walk and refreshments.  Please dress for the weather, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

A History Walk: With interpretive signage along the perimeter trail, this program tells a powerful story of this unique piece of land, highlighting the rich natural and cultural history of Tollgate Farm.  Dr. Lorraine McConaghy, who served as the consultant and research specialist for this project, will lead us through history while we walk the trail. This project received generous financial support from  the Snoqualmie Tribe and Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley.

Farmhouse Exterior Rehabilitation Project: With 4 Culture grant funding through the Saving Landmarks Program, the Farmhouse, a City of North Bend historic landmark, has been stabilized and protected from the elements in preparation for future interior rehabilitation project. We will get a rare peek in the Farmhouse to see what work still lies ahead and update on the  HCPF grant funding status for this portion of the project.

Event parking is available in the parking lot along South North Bend Way. We look forward to your participation!
About Tollgate Farm
Tollgate Farm is owned by City of North Bend, and managed by Si View Metro Parks through an inter-local agreement with the City. Since the park's opening in 2015, it has  quickly become a favorite with residents and visitors. With grand views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains, walking trails, children's playground and large open fields, the site is a regional jewel. Yet many new opportunities to further enhance visitor experiences await.

Farmhouse Interior Rehabilitation Project
Preservation of this historically significant North Bend landmark for use as a community space will provide an important connection to the rich history and culture of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley. Much work is needed to open the Farmhouse to the public. The interior rehabilitation project has been recommended for grant funding through Heritage Capital Projects Fund (HCPF) but has not yet been funded in the state budget proposal.

Tollgate Park to Snoqualmie Valley Trail Connection
Si View Metro Parks is working to extend the Tollgate Park trail approximately ΒΌ mile north connecting users directly to the popular Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Completing this missing trail link will benefit Snoqualmie Valley residents and visitors alike, enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities by improving access to green spaces, promoting physical activity and improving safety. The connector trail brings users through the lush natural landscape of Snoqualmie Valley with sweeping views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains, south fork of the Snoqualmie River and pasture lands. This project is funded by Si View Metro Parks and King County.

Agricultural Feasibility Study
The land offers rich soils likely suitable for agricultural production. Si View Metro Parks is currently conducting a feasibility study to understand the opportunities and challenges of potential agricultural use. Ideas include an incubator farm and/or farm store to support local agriculture and provide educational programs.
