The Greater Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce has the official Colorado Parks & Wildlife 2018 Big Game and Fishing regulations brochures in stock. We also have available other informational brochures, pamphlets and flyers to help plan your outdoor activities in the area. Stop by the Chamber to browse the information rack.

1:00-2:30 pm Meet at the Visitor Center
Join Volunteer Naturalist Pat for a one mile guided hike as you search for and decipher clues along the trail to solve a nature riddle about elk! For adults and children 6 years and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Legal Clinic at Rampart Library District in WP and Florissant 

A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be featured from 3:00 PM - 4:00 pm on the SECOND THURSDAY of each month (May 10) at your Woodland Park Public Library in Woodland Park, and also at your Florissant Public Library in Florissant. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders.

The Ketones will have two shows at 11:30am and 1:00pm. The shows will be a marriage of interactive science and pop music. Bring your camera and join in the fun of science themed songs along with amazing science demonstrations.

fossil beds Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is open year round. During May the Monument is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Starting Saturday, May 26, the Monument will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Friday, May 11, Night Sky Program, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Join park staff and members of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society to gaze at the dark skies above Florissant Fossil Beds in search of planets, galaxies, nebulas, and more. Meet at the visitor center.
