  • Single lane with US 24 eastbound and westbound traffic head to head sharing the US 24 eastbound lane in Ute Pass between Cascade and Manitou Springs (mile post 294 - 301) during hours of operation.
  • Reduced speed limits

  • Work consist of rock scaling, drilling, installing rock anchors and grouting.
8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 27

Crews are not working during morning and evening commute times, and are off the road for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when traffic is the heaviest. Patricia Gilbert has an exciting history of dance and showbiz performing with stars like Gene Kelley and Marlene Dietrich. She developed her love of painting with acrylic and has colorful art to share.

Chad Keith is a sketch artist whose passion for drawing began as a young child. He creates fabulous realistic pets, portraits, landscapes, and architecture through several layers of pencil.

Also showing is Jill Tarvin. She demonstrates the magnificence of nature, sunsets, and landscapes through the use of colorful pastels. Teddy Roosevelt to Visit PPHS Chautauqua at the Florissant Library

Teddy Rossevelt The portrayal of Theodore Roosevelt takes on both his personal and political life. T.R. wanted to be a natural scientist and studied nature at his home in New York. Schooled by his parents to be a leader, his skills sharpened by Harvard and his experiences in the west, urged him on to a life of service.

Don Moon is a Colorado native, his grandparents came to Colorado in a covered wagon and homesteaded along the lower Arkansas River at the turn of the last century. Don was raised in Pueblo and settled in Colorado Springs.
