Pearl Harbor Veteran to Speak in Woodland Park
Sunday, July 9 at Woodland Park Community Church 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Worship Services
Jim Downing was a sailor assigned to the USS West Virginia when Japanese fighters and bombers struck the Pacific fleet stronghold in a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. The 103-year-old is a well-known speaker and the oldest living survivor of Pearl Harbor. Listening to Jim speak is like hearing a living his
tory book. Jim has a heart for the Lord and passionately speaks into the lives of both young and older generations. We are privileged to have him join us on Sunday, July 9th to speak into our lives with the wisdom that he has gained in over 100 years of life and over 80 years of following God. Bring your family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends. You won't want to miss this opportunity to hear Jim share.
