The Colorado Department of Transportation is working on a resurfacing and overlay highway improvement project on Colorado Highway 67 between Cripple Creek and Divide and Woodland Park and Westcreek. This resurfacing project consists of paving, guardrail installation, bridge work, signing, and striping at two work sites.
Site A:
CO 67 - Cripple Creek to Divide (18 miles) beginning at milepost 52.3 and ending at milepost 69.6.
Site B:
CO 67 - Woodland Park to Westcreek (13 miles) beginning at milepost 77.5 and ending at milepost 91.7.

Great Music and Food at the Senior Center
This Saturday, June 17th, at 1:00 at the Senior Center, Ute Pass Chamber Players will feature the music of Beethoven, Debussy, and Bourdeau. Menu features smoked salmon croissants, spanikopita, bacon wrapped chicken skewers, quiche lorraine, mozzarella & basil bruchetta, chocolate dipped strawberries, fruit skewers, krumkake (waffle cookie), lemon bars, and macaroons. $20 per person.

There are several areas to volunteer for this special community event: Set up (several points to help in the morning between 6 and 9) Kid Zones (24 slots to fill throughout the entire day) Roving throughout event Beer Garden (15 slots to fill between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.) Tear Down (several points to help in the afternoon between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m.) Breakfast, lunch, and snacks/water will be provided for VOLUNTEERS only throughout the day at Volunteer staging located at the Teen Center on the north side of City Hall (220 W. Take a Walk Through Bygone Days with Ute Pass Historical Society
Weekly guided tours of History Park and the Walking Tour of Downtown Woodland Park are held every Saturday through September 2 (excluding August 5). The two daily tours of the five buildings comprising History Park begin at 11am and noon. Exhibits and contents are frequently refashioned so "come again for the first time!"
The 90-minute Walking Tour of Downtown Woodland Park begins at 10:30 a.m., so please arrive at the UPHS Museum Center by 10:15 a.m. The Center is located at 231 E. Henrietta Avenue, next to the Woodland Park Public Library.Don't forget to bring plenty of water and a light sweater.
While at History Park, visit the Olde Curiosity Gift Shop which offers an extensive selection of books and unique gift items. The Gift Shop is located in the Museum Center and is open year-round, Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10am to 3pm.

6th Annual Cemetery Crawl
Benefiting Ute Pass Historical Society & Pikes Peak Museum
Take a walk around the Woodland Park Cemetery July 4 and meet some of the old pioneers who are resting there. Hear their stories of the old days, and imagine what it was like. Tours run every 15 minutes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $5, and tickets are available at the gate. Guided parking is at 540 Manor Court , behind the Casa Grande Restaurant.
