The Life & Times of Henry Hoder and the Wildhorn Dude Ranch

Historical Society The Wildhorn Dude Ranch, located north of Florissant, Colorado and owned by the Hoder Family, has seen everything from cowboys to moonshiners along with a variety of celebrities when it was a dude ranch. Steve Plutt, local historian, will present an interesting program on this piece of Teller County history.

Steve knew Henry Hoder while Henry was alive and a lot of the information presented in his program comes first hand - information about events and people involved in the history of the Wildhorn Dude Ranch.

The Pikes Peak Historical Society invites you to learn more about the Wildhorn Dude Ranch at their monthly Chautauqua on Sunday, April 23rd, 2:00 pm at the Florissant Library, 334 Circle Drive in Florissant.  This program is presented as a public service, admission is free and refreshments are served.  No reservations needed but arrive early , seating is limited. For more information 719-748-8259 or  719-748-3861.
