Leading With Grasses
This year's Cultivate held special meaning for the Hoffman Nursery team. John Hoffman was among the recipients of the 2018 Horticultural Industries Leadership Awards (HILA) bestowed by Greenhouse Management and Nursery Management. He and the other award recipients were recognized at the HILA reception held during Cultivate'18.

We congratulate John on this recognition and thank him for his leadership. He has passed on to our team a love of the industry and the people who make it special.

Read more about John, his journey, and the nursery in, " The Genuine Article."

State of Lighting Report
Greenhouse Management recently published a state of lighting report. It explores how growers and researchers are adding value to horticultural crops with the incorporation of new and improved lighting into plant production.

Hoffman Nursery has been trying out supplemental lighting in our propagation facility. Our propagation tech Jessica Marlowe talked with the magazine about the increased interest in LED and other lighting.
