Gratitude
As the days get cooler and shorter, we begin the season of thankfulness, and AutismOklahoma is thankful for all of our families, donors, sponsors, participants and volunteers who allow us to continue creating magic for thousands of Oklahomans each year.
Thank you for believing in our mission and allowing us to be a part of your lives, your time and your gifts.

Parent Support Groups are Here for You.

All of the AutismOklahoma Parent Support groups are off to a great start for the 2017/18 year!  New groups have been added to the Tulsa and Weatherford areas, bringing a total of 13 Oklahoma communities directly impacted and served.

All groups meet either monthly or every other month during the school year. Each group provides a unique program to meet the needs of families who regularly attend the meetings.

You can expect to find the following at each parent support group:
  • Open discussions
  • Parent panels
  • Opportunities for parent Q&A
  • Experts on autism related topics
  • Teachers and private professionals

Leaders Meet to Learn to Lead
Recently, 35 of our statewide volunteer leaders met for a two-day Leadership Retreat. Together they dreamed of ways to enrich our programs with suggestions, tools, and inspiration for this coming year. There are many great things in store this year, so make sure you find the group or program that is perfect for your family!
And A Big Thank You To...

Thank you to these, and all of our volunteers. They are the reason that more than 5,000 children, adults and families have opportunities to be successful, be creative and be a friend. From our parent groups to the PieceWalk and from art to filmmaking, our programs rely on AutismOklahoma’s corps of 700+ dedicated volunteers to reach across the state and fulfill our mission.
