Trash to Treasure
This year’s Trash to Treasure sale at Penn State Altoona is Saturday, June 2, 8 a.m. to noon at the gymnasium of the Adler Athletic Complex. Clothing, electronics, books, toiletries, shoes, bedding, and knick-knacks are among the items available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Blair County United Way and its partners. Trash to Treasure began at University Park ten years ago. It has become Penn State’s biggest town-gown recycling effort.
