Look what is in our Gallery
Two weavers from opposite sides of the world are coming together in Eugene to show work inspired by geology in the US. The canyons of Arizona and the caves of western Virginia are the building blocks for Agnes Hauptli (NZ) and Stacey Harvey-Brown (UK) in Nature In The Making which shows from August 1st through October 11th at the Eugene Textile Centre. The dramatic colouring and strata of the canyons and the tactility of stalactites are interpreted in three-dimensional woven installations and collections of hangings, shawls and scarves. This touring exhibition has previously been seen in New Zealand and will be travelling on to Europe in 2015.

| Special Offer: Louet Megado
|
A very special offer!
We are sponsoring a special run of Megado Electronic Dobby Looms! With a weaving width of 16", these 16 or 32 shaft dobby looms have a very small footprint and can be moved through doorways without disassembly. This production run is being done especially for us. The loom's footprint is 37" by 47" with the electronic dobby head attached, 32" by 47" without. The special design of the warp and back beams allows a very large shed without needing loom length. The Megado is a dream to weave on! Step on the wide pedal once only to move to the next pick and open the shed. The action is unbelievably light. The price for both the loom and the electronic dobby is $9800 for 16 shafts and $12,500 for 32. Free shipping!
We have one at ETC for you to try out!
This offer is available for a short time only, and only from Eugene Textile Center.
