CUNY Callouts

Yukako "CeCe" Hori is a Baruch College sophomore who has many academic and career interests and was hesitant to settle on a single traditional major. Fortunately, she didn’t have to. Thanks to the CUNY BA program, CeCe was able to design her own degree, blending her interests in ethics, morality and financial risk into a single unique course of study. She also juggles several extracurriculars including the Student Leadership Council for CUNY BA, Baruch's Rising Star Sophomore Program and Passport to Partnership, along with other mentorship programs. She hopes to pursue a career in risk management.

CeCe's Advice: “Don’t be afraid to reach out to people for help. Even if it is just a 15-minute Zoom call to ask a few questions, it is a great way to show that you are an intellectually curious and motivated student.”

Interested in ethics or finance (or both)? Connect with CeCe on LinkedIn!
