Jajja's Kids -- Growing and Thriving!

The top photo was taken at the start of Jajja's Home in early 2013, where 14 children--some as young as 4 and 5--were living together but only eight attended school. Today 19 children (second photo) live together at the home and have cultivated a sense of community as brothers and sister--and all attend school!

Scholarship Program Growing Too!

In just its first year, our scholarship program has become a very important foundation for our children to grow into successful and productive members of society.

Twelve children are now sponsored for all education needs throughout the year, while two other children are sponsored for all expenses including education, food, housing, and medical costs.

Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful sponsors for your commitment and caring, and providing needed resources to make a difference in these children's lives!

Challenge Grant Update

Thanks to the generous support of long-time friend Jim Suozzo, a $5,000 challenge began June 10, with the aim to raise an equal amount in donations  by the end of the year.  Board members then stepped in and added $2,000 to the initial challenge.

We have so far received $3,475 in donations over the summer, so are half-way to our $7,000 goal!

Remember--every penny donated will double in benefit to our children!  If you have thought of donating to Jajja's Kids but haven't done it yet, now is the time!

Amazon Smile Program
Amazon Smile Program

Jajja's Kids is now registered with AmazonSmile, a nonprofit organization that donates 0.5% of purchases to charitable organizations when Amazon customers shop at smile.amazon.com and identify the organization they wish to support.

You get the same products and same process at no extra cost to you or to us. Consider adding Amazon Smile to your Amazon account, and identify Jajja's Kids as the organization where you wish Amazon's contribution to go.   The Amazon Smile program can be an added resource for Jajja's Kids--helping us grow penny by penny!
