The challenge starts on July 5th at noon ET and continues through August 4. A total of $150,000 will be given away to organizations during the Challenge, based on the amount raised. The organization that raises the most will receive a $50,000 donation. And, second through fifth place also get large cash donations ranging from $5,000-$30,000. We're ready to raise as much money as we can so we can win the $50,000 grand prize donation.

Volunteer Spotlight

Madeleine Stevenson, a recent high school graduate, volunteers at Pets In Need on a regular basis. While helping at the clinic, she recognized a need to occupy clients while they are in the waiting room. Madeleine set up "The Little Free Library" book exchange.

Anyone can select a book to read while waiting or take ho me from this free lending library. If you have a book you would like to donate, feel free to drop it off at Pets In Need to expand the library.

Community Events Boost Awareness and Donations

HPS Wine Walk Cookies
Pets In Need is reaching out to local communities by attending a number of events this summer. On June 8, the Hyde Park Square Wednesday Wine Walk offered a great opportunity to introduce Pets In Need. As the recipient of the event bracelet sales, Pets In Need received a $1,200 donation. A special thanks to Rejuve Cosmetic and Wellness Center for inviting us to participate.

Saturday, June 18 was a beautiful day to participate in the Tusculum Street Fest and connect with another community. The Dog Studio generously offered their booth space to Pets In Need. Visitors to the booth were impressed by our mission and very supportive of the services provided.

Thank you to the volunteers who help spread the word about Pets In Need!
