Thoughts from the President and CEO
What an exciting time of year, right? Most of us look at the new year as a time for a clean slate, new opportunities and hope for a better tomorrow. For the youth we serve, hope is often in short supply. Because of you, and our other supporters, young people who had felt hopeless and alone, are now connected and hopeful. We are proud to serve as a turning point for youth in our community.
The team at Youth Services has a lot of hope for the future as well. Our holiday match campaign was a huge success, raising more than $120,800 in much needed funds to ensure we can meet the unique needs of those we serve. Our heartfelt gratitude to the generous, anonymous donor who made this holiday match possible.
We are inspired by the young lives changed for the better. Please take a moment to read Kinzee’s story and hear what she has to say to those who helped her transition from a life of instability to one on a solid foundation.
In addition, we will be celebrating our 46
th
Anniversary on February 8, and we sincerely hope you can stop by to help us celebrate. There will be an exciting announcement that day, so you’ll want to closely watch your email and our social media in the coming days.We can’t wait to share everything that is happening at 201 NE 50th Street with you soon.
