CEO's Corner 
The 48th Annual Growth Alliance Golf Outing is being held tomorrow at the Fort Dodge Country Club. With 39 teams registered and  41 tee sponsors, we are going to have another very exciting event!

Tee sponsors will begin arriving at 10:00 a.m. according to their scheduled time. Team registration and lunch will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start for all teams at noon. We anticipate our social hour starting at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions about the schedule for tomorrow, please contact Kate Stucky at (515) 302-4575.

As a reminder, our office will be closing at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow to allow our staff to set up at the Fort Dodge Country Club.

Fort Dodge Designated A Main Street Community 

Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Director, Debi Durham, announced today that two Iowa communities were selected to join the Main Street Iowa program: Clarence and Fort Dodge.  The announcement was made during the opening session of the Iowa Downtown Conference in historic downtown Sioux City.

Correction - Terry Allers Has Been Elected To Serve As Second V.P.
Architect Terry L. Allers, AIA, has been elected to serve as second vice president of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Allers, owner and architect-of-record for Allers Associates Architects in Fort Dodge, which he founded in 1979, has served on NCARB committees since 2006. Most recently Allers served a term as NCARB's board secretary, and before that as director of NCARB's Mid-Central States Conference (Region 4), representing Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Steven Heddinger of Central Financial Receives Awards

Steve Heddinger, a partner with Central Financial Group in Fort Dodge, received the Central Financial Group Agent of the Year and the Securities Representative of the Year Award at the Central Financial Group's Awards luncheon held recently.
Heddinger has received both of these awards multiple times in the last several years.

In addition to Fort Dodge, the Central Financial Group has offices in Algona, Britt, Emmetsburg, Johnston, Kanawha, Roland, Spencer, Urbandale and Wesley.
Drzycimski Earns Mastership Award From Dentistry Academy
Dr. Nicholas Drzycimski, of Fort Dodge, received the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry on July 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession.
To accomplish this, Drzycimski completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education.He is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Fort Dodge District Dental Society, and Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance.
SERVPRO recognizes SERVPRO of Fort Dodge

Jerry M. and Lori A. McMahon, of SERVPRO of Fort Dodge, joined a group of high-performing franchisees who were recognized during an Awards Extravaganza event at the recent SERVPRO annual convention in Seattle, Washington. SERVPRO of Fort Dodge received the Director's Gold award.

Volunteers are URGENTLY needed to help with several areas. The areas include, set up, entrance gates, concessions, merchandise boat loading, timing and clean up. Volunteers are needed both Friday evening, August 11th and all day Saturday August 12th.
