It’s been a busy, head scratching type of season so far for many Superintendents across the province of Manitoba. Some courses are still trying to recover from the harsh conditions winter left us this spring. Even though the past month has seen some great recovery weather, or so we thought, it just seems to be taking its time filling in areas around the course that are normally in top shape at this point of the season. No matter how much water, fertilizer, seed, sand/soil and man hours you throw at it, some days it feels like you are getting nowhere with the recovery, but it’s important to look back at where you began in the spring to where you are now to see the vast improvements.

It’s going to be a big year in Alberta and we can’t wait to welcome the rest of the country starting this fall. The CGSA’s first event in Alberta will be the Fall Field Day at Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club. James Beebe and his crew are looking forward to hosting everyone from across the country. The event will take place from Sept 16 -18. The AGSA will kick things off on Sunday with their fall meeting, and then we will jump on a bus and head out to Priddis for a welcoming BBQ at the Maintenance Department. Monday is a full day of events and we are looking forward to the Day at Willow Park G&CC, with host Brian Denomme.

New Benefits Coming Soon!
|
Are you ready to take your CGSA membership to the next level? New and exciting times are coming to CGSA members. Starting with your 2018-2019 membership you can either
Remain the Same
or you can
Change your Game
. If you would like to take your membership to the next level, please watch for the news on tiered membership packages coming soon.
Why change our membership structure? It’s simple; it provides you with the choice to keep your membership the same as it always has been, or you can customize your membership and add the benefits that are important to you. The membership levels are structured on a benefit-driven tiered system that allows you to choose a level based on the benefits that you would like to have access to. We are confident that you will agree that the tiered membership plan recognizes the diversity of our membership and provides tangible value!
Details on this new initiative will be released soon!
