Who are the people who have had a significant influence on your life? Whose wisdom and guidance has helped to shape you? This Sunday we will continue to look at the work of the Holy Spirit and reflect on the ways the Holy Spirit influences our life. This Sunday, both worship services will be contemporary in style and music.
This weekend is also Memorial Day weekend where, for many, it is the unofficial start of summer. However, Memorial Day has a much more significant meaning. It is a day set a part for remembering people who have lost their lives in combat, as they have served this country. We want to remember and give thanks for their sacrifice and pray God's continued comfort for loves ones who grieve.. At both worship services, we will lift up the names of those you have shared, who have fallen in combat.
As Christ's body, we are blessed to be a blessing to our neighbors around us. There are people in our community who do not have a church home. God is calling each of us to reach out to them. Please be in prayer. How is God asking you to reach out? You all continue in my prayers.
Yours in Christ,
