 Unpack & Unwind

Whether you're visiting to enjoy the holidays, get started on winter fun, or both, there's a warm spot by the fire waiting for you somewhere up here.

KT Cabin is located right in the village and has 5 bedrooms, a great room with a fireplace, large kitchen, as well as several restaurants within walking distance if you don't feel like cooking.  There's even a sledding hill for the kids (or adults) to enjoy!

Bringing the whole crew for a getaway?   Play Hard Mountain Sports has room for everyone with 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half baths, a gourmet kitchen, and 13 acres to call your own.  This beautiful post & beam home is tucked away from the main roads, but still just a few minutes drive to the slopes & trails.

Why do 96% of guests recommend the Comfort Inn & Suites Near Burke Mountain?  Maybe it's the spacious rooms, fitness area, and indoor heated pool. Or, maybe it's the great location with shops and great dining nearby and the hotel is just a quick drive to the slopes.  Check out the Burke Mountain Ski & Stay package rates to really save some dough!

Winter!

According to the Farmers Almanac...From the Great Lakes into the Northeast, snowier-than-normal conditions are expected. We can hear the skiers, boarders, and snowmobilers cheering from here!

Let's hope they're right and the white stuff starts piling up soon!

There's a lot to look forward to this winter including enhancements to our favorite ski mountain.  Winter work for Burke Mountain took place this summer including widening Warren's Way, adding over 13,000 feet of snowmaking pipe, and replacing the POMA with the new T-Bar.  Here's to a great

season of skiing & riding!

The dedicated volunteers from the Burke Drift Skippers have also been hard at work getting the trails ready for the snowmobiling season.  If you've never been snowmobiling before, it's an exhilarating way to travel through the woods and find great dining spots along the way for refueling.  No worries if you don't have your own ride, NEK Adventures offers guided tours.

Nordic Adventures and Fat-Biking escapades start at Kingdom Trails as soon as there's enough snow on the trails.  Check out their events calendar for moonlit snowshoe treks and definitely make plans to visit in March for the Annual WinterBike Festival.

What, too cold for a lake swim, you say?  Nonsense!  At least not for some folks who participate in the Annual Winter Swim Festival that happens just north of Burke at Lake Memphremagog.  Check it out in February as a spectactor or take a dip, if you dare.  Also in February, Newport plays host to the Memphremagog Womens Pond Hockey Tournament
