Now until April 30th

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Potomac River Professionals Chapter is pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications on January 1st, 2015 for our annual STEM Innovators Scholarship sponsored by Mr. Dwayne Nelson.

The purpose of the STEM Innovators Scholarship is to continue the NSBE Potomac River Professional Chapter's mission to "increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically".

The STEM Innovators Scholarship will award $1,000 to one high school student in the Dahlgren, King George, Fredericksburg, Northern Neck of Virginia, and Southern Maryland (St. Mary's County, Calvert County, and Charles County) areas seeking a degree in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic (STEM) fields.

Fundraiser

Fundraising is of vital importance to the National Society of Black Engineers Potomac River Professionals chapter. We are strongly committed to helping increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel in their academic efforts, who strive to succeed professionally, and who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the community.

We have so many wonderful programs and events that promote professional development, collegiate mentoring, youth interests in science, technology, engineering, and math among others. However, we need your assistance. Help us continue to spread goodwill.
