19 New Charter Schools for Guilford?
GREENSBORO - North Carolina continues to see strong interest in charter schools more than a year after state lawmakers eliminated a 100-school cap.
The Office of Charter Schools received about 160 letters of intent from people who want to apply to open charter schools in fall 2014. Nineteen of those letters came from Guilford County. Read more...
Guilford County Schools Drops Plans for Airport Area High School
GREENSBORO - Guilford County Schools no longer plans to build a new high school and middle school near the airport in western Guilford County.
