All the money raised goes to the Friends of the Library who pay for all the 'extras' we offer: author talks, presentations, summer reading events, museum passes, 3D printer & more.

Cash Prizes: 6th Annual Poetry Contest theme: GLASS. Unleash your ideas and get in the game, don't delay: entry deadline is Sat. April 30 by midnight. Stop by or click to see all the details and rules.

The Teen Think Tank meets on Thur. April 7 at 6:30. Be in on the action as a collaborator to develop teen programs and influence the teen collections of books, music, graphic novels, and more.

MAGE [Minecraft & Assorted Games for Everyone] meets Wednesdays 3:30-5:30. MAGE is run by teens for all ages who play well with others. Bring your laptop and have an active Minecraft membership. One Rule: No Griefing.

Wednesday Night Book Club April 6, 7:00. Join Dede to discuss Operation Mincemeat by Ben Macintyre. Next up: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

Tuesday Tastings Explore a particular chef's cuisine or gastronomic theme with this innovative group. Bring your dish on April 12 at 11:00, the chef is: The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten. RSVP with your dish to Nancy by Thur. 7. May features 'Picnic Basket Bliss'.

Literary Luncheon

Join Nancy on Tues. April 19 at 11:30 The Daring Ladies of Lowell by Kate Alcott. Don't forget your brown-bag lunch, beverages will be provided, as well as something extra inspired by the book. Next up for May: the classic To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
