2017 - It's a Wrap
2017 was a banner year for film and television in White Plains.  With the explosion of content and the way in which it is delivered, there has been a proliferation in film activity, and our City has been a beneficiary.

White Plains has hosted productions for everything from tiny digital commercials to major motion pictures and all sizes in between -- from Progresso soup, Huggies and StainMaster commercials, to TV series The Americans, Sneaky Pete and The Rise, to feature films such as The Post and The Irishman.

Spielberg, Scorcese and Soderberg all spent days directing actors Hanks, Streep, De Niro, Pacino, Giamatti and Foy here in White Plains.

Local schools, the library, malls, churches, hotels and private residences have all been featured in productions.   So if you think you catch a glimpse of your hometown at the movies or on TV, you are probably right!
The City & You: Partners in Snow Removal
The City is ready to keep the roads open and safe during and after snow
storms, but we all play a part:
  • Make sure children and pets are not playing in or near the street when you see plows coming through your area
  • Do not park cars in the street
  • Clean your sidewalk
