LET'S GO GREEN
In our efforts to be green and decrease paper costs, we email The Hawk Squawk to all of our families every Tuesday using Constant Contact.  The first Hawk Squawk is being emailed and sent as a hard copy to every family.  This newsletter will serve as the school's primary means of  communication. Constant Contact will also be used to provide you with quick reminders.  Please check to make sure you received The Hawk Squawk today to the email address you indicated with
enrollment.
If you'd like to change or add to your email contacts, please contact the office via email at: jbrice@saugususd.org or call us at (661) 294-5320. If you "unsubscribe" you will not receive any emails from Saugus Union School District.

If you are interested in having your name placed on the ballot, please submit a short paragraph (approximately 100 words) by indicating your qualifications (your qualifications can simply be that you are a parent of Highlands!) and why you are interested in the position. Please submit your bio to the school office by September 1st in person or via email to: jbrice@saugususd.org

Our first School Site Council meeting will be held Monday, September 17 at 3:30pm in the library. There are eight meetings per school year and each meeting lasts from an hour and a half to two hours.

Attention parents and guardians!  Should your child be impacted by a custodial arrangement, please contact the office immediately even if you've notified us in the past.  It is imperative that we receive annual updates of such arrangements.  If we are not aware of such considerations, we cannot accommodate them.
Thank you.
