Donations Accepted Through December 12
The mission of the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Harper's Choice Middle School is a collection site for the Toys for Tots program through December 12.

Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy to help the Marines reach their goal and bring smiles to the faces of many children in our community.

Did You Know...
Whitetail Deer Mating Season is at its Peak?

This week marks the peak of whitetail deer mating season in central Maryland. During this time, the deer are on the move and paying less attention to their surroundings than usual. Be extra cautious as you drive through the area and watch out for deer!

It is unfortunate that this is also the time of year when we may see an increase in deer struck by vehicles. Please call Howard County Animal Control at 410-313-2780 if you see a deer carcass that needs to be removed from the roadway.

Property Maintenance Reminder

When was the last time you stepped back and took a really good look at your home and landscaping? If you were a potential buyer, would you find your home in good condition and well-maintained? We ask that each property owner take a critical look at their own home to determine if property maintenance is needed and create a plan for getting the work done.

Do you need to budget for repairs? Can this work be done as part of an end-of-season cleanup of the property? Does this work have to wait until spring? Remember,  if the work that is needed requires a change to the exterior of your home, an exterior alteration application may need to be submitted. This document and others can be found on our website.
