HDWD Spreads Holiday Cheer by Donating to Local Charities

Yucca Valley, CA - Hi-Desert Water District (HDWD) adheres to the value of giving back to help build our local community. In the spirit of the holiday season, HDWD has donated to Tender Loving Christmas and the local Boys and Girls Club.
All HDWD employees purchase raffle tickets at their annual holiday party, and the money that is collected is donated back to local charities. This year, HDWD employees (38 employees) raised $770.
Tender Loving Christmas received $500 worth of new toys for distribution to those in need. The Boys and Girls Club of Yucca Valley received a donation of $270 for their programs.
This is the 12th consecutive year that HDWD employees have donated to local charities during the holiday season.
