EMPLOYEE RETIRES AFTER 34 YEARS AT HDWD
Yucca Valley, CA - Today, after 34 years of dedication and hard work at Hi-Desert Water District (HDWD), Bob Stephenson has officially retired. 

Stephenson joined HDWD in 1980, as an entry-level employee. Throughout the years, Stephenson has been promoted several times ultimately as a Water Distribution Operator III.

During his time with HDWD, Stephenson has helped the community with the after-effects of the 1992 Landers' earthquake; was a team member in the construction and implementation of the Mojave Water Pipeline; was a part of the 1989 Yucca Valley Water Company and HDWD merger; seen several wells installed; and witnessed the creation of the Yucca Valley recharge ponds.

HDWD wishes Bob a gratifying and enjoyable retirement.
