RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
FOR HDWD'S NEW WELL 20 WEST

Wednesday, October 8, 2014
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Yucca Valley, CA - The Hi-Desert Water District (HDWD) invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for HDWD's new Well 20 West. Refreshments will be provided.

The ceremony will be held at the location of the well, at the Northwest corner of Coyote Trail and Cherokee Trail, near the water recharge ponds. (See Map Below).

The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and HDWD will be holding the ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the newly constructed well. The new Well 20 West uses state of the art technology and can produce up to 1.2 million gallons of water a day. In addition to the new well's capability to extract 800 gallons of water a minute to deliver to customers, the well is efficient with water use by redirecting any displaced water from the well into a recharge pond.
