The seventh annual HEAR NOW Music Festival brings you music by the great composers living and working in Los Angeles including: Friday evening electroacoustic concert in collaboration with PIE, Saturday evening chamber concert in collaboration with LACO, and Sunday afternoon chamber concert. Some of Los Angeles' leading performers take part in HEAR NOW which spotlights the wealth of musical imagination in our city.

The Hear Now/PIE collaboration continues to bring new and exciting composers and performers into the festival. This year, the festival presents works by A

Brightwork newmusic. The superb artistic and tech crew from PIE provides seamless blending of the concrete and the fantastical.

A tribute to Jeffrey Kahane, LACO Music Director and Conductor
for having consistently commissioned and programmed pieces by living Los Angeles composers during his tenure with the orchestra
The program includes works by two of the many Los Angeles composers commissioned by LACO under Jeffrey Kahane's musical leadership,
