NOTES NOTES FROM MAY 23 SAFETY MEETING
Thank-you to everyone who attended the safety meeting with the Lone Tree Police Department.  If you were unable to attend and would like more information on any of the topics discussed, please feel free to contact the Heritage Hills Safety Committee at hhsafetycommittee@gmail.com .
Discussion included:
  • The Lone Tree Police Department encourages neighbors to build a community, not fences.  Get to know your neighbors and be aware of your surroundings at all times.  LTPD stresses the importance of calling the police if you see something suspicious.
  • Sign-up for Vacation House Watch-Call LTPD at 303-339-8150 or complete form on City of Lone Tree website.
  • Keep garage doors closed at all times.  Garage theft is on the rise in Lone Tree.
  • Cars parked in driveways should be locked at all times, remove valuable items and garage remotes from cars as well.
  • Report ALL solicitors to the police and do not buy from them.
  • Join the NEXTDOOR APP for the Heritage Hills neighborhood so you can be up to speed on security issues in the neighborhood.
  • Consider a camera system for your front door.  RING has offered our community a discounted rate.
  • The HOA and Metro District Boards are working together to better secure our neighborhood.  Security items include replacing and updating cameras at both gates, installation of pedestrian gates and replacement of fencing by the overlook RTD gate entrance.

POOL UPDATE
Pool and Clubhouse Parties/Gatherings

Summer is here!  Revisions to the Pool and Clubhouse Parties/Gatherings Policies have been made to ensure a safe environment for everyone.  Have a fun and enjoyable season.

Pool Rules:
Private functions are to be confined to the clubhouse  building.  Please do not allow guests to disturb other residents. Teenagers and young children must be strictly supervised. Reserving residents are responsible for the behavior of their guests. The side door to the pool area must remain closed unless pool use  during pool season  has been authorized.  The pool deck cannot be reserved and cannot be used during pool off-season.   Security Camera surveillance in the Clubhouse and pool areas may monitor all social activities to ensure compliance.

POOL PARTIES/GATHERINGS (resident/nonresident) - Swimming pools must be available to all residents and they may not be reserved for exclusive use by any group. Some pool parties may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. The number of guests is restricted to 25 people to ensure pool availability for all other Heritage Hills residents. If the Clubhouse is reserved at least 2 weeks in advance and pool use is requested then parties/gatherings of 10 or more MUST hire additional lifeguards through Perfect Pools at 303-795-1191  at least 7 days in advance.   Parties/gatherings with 90% of residents will receive a waiver for the life guard fee. No tents, music or catered food will be allowed
