Conservation Authorities Act Review
The provincial government has initiated a review of the Conservation Authorities Act. A discussion paper (attached here) has been posted on the environmental registry (012-4509) until October 19, 2015 to identify opportunities to improve the existing legislative, regulatory and policy framework that currently governs Conservation Authorities and the programs and services they provide. Oktoberfest Celebration!

On October 14th, 2015 we are hosting an Industry Night celebrating  Oktoberfest  in Kitchener- Waterloo!  We've also invited members from neighbouring locals to join us.

Working at Heights Training
DID YOU KNOW..... that there are new Working at Heights requirements as of April of this year?  We are currently in the process of arranging for Working at Heights training for any member interested.  We will be booking it for a day in September - date to be confirmed.  If you are interested in having any of your workers trained to these new requirements please contact Liz at [email protected].  There is a maximum of 12 spots per day.  It is a full day program and will be held in our Board Room.
