The Hubbard Hall Opera Theater singers have arrived and they sound amazing.    Rehearsals have begun in earnest and our orchestra arrives in a little over a week.

We have a few must-see events coming up that will showcase the HHOT talent and whet your palette for the fabulous performances to come.

Our prima donna, Meghan Picerno, will sing a concert at The Slate Valley Museum   in Granville, NY in honor of the Italian quarry workers who passed the time by listening to opera while toiling in the mines at the turn of the century.  The descendants of these early settlers remain in the area today and  help to turn the town into a bevvy of activities celebrating their cultural heritage this weekend.   Ms. Picerno will perform pieces from the traditional Italian repertoire with cellist Brian Donat and violinist Alyson Slack.

7/31, Friday: 7pm- $10 admission.  Reservations: (518) 642-1417

Don't miss a three course cabaret dinner performance at The Mount Anthony Country Club in Bennington, VT.

Erin Brittain, Paul An and Monica Soti-Gil will serenade you with popular jazz standards, best-loved musical theater pieces and opera's most famous party tunes.
