Thread Lines: Cross Cultural Textile Traditions
in the Netherlands, the Caribbean and New York
 Artist Residency with Farida Sedoc
August 12th - September 24th, 2016
Thread Lines is a dynamic artist-in-residency program with Farida Sedoc
at the Wyckoff House Museum, exploring relationships with fabric, fibers,
and textiles through shared cultural heritage between the Netherlands,
the Americas, and  the Caribbean.
Weekly Open Studios
Every Friday 2pm-6pm from August 12th through September 23rd. FREE
Visit the Wyckoff House and meet with the artist and staff in the studio. View, learn and
participate in the artist's patchwork based art practice. 

Free Public Patchwork Workshop
August 20th 11am-3pm in conjunction with Free Family Day, FREE
September 24th 1pm-3pm during the Breukelen Country Fair, FREE
Learn new-wave patchworking techniques with Artist-in-Residence, Farida Sedoc. Drop-in
workshop appropriate for all ages and abilities.  

Exhibition and Reception
Saturday September 24th 5pm-7pm FREE
Enjoy music and refreshments, hear from the artist and enjoy a presentation of original
contemporary artwork at New York City's oldest house
