A Wise Man Once Said...

"Not only the wealth, but the independence and security of a country appear to be materially connected to the prosperity of manufacturers. Every nation, with a view to those great objects, ought to endeavor to possess within itself all the essentials of national supply. These comprise the means of subsistence, habitation, clothing, and defense."

Celebrating the Opening of a New MakerBot Innovation Center

KIM in 3D
When SUNY New Paltz announced their collaboration with MakerBot celebrating the Next Big Thing, Hudson Valley Technology Development Center had already quietly been in the 3D printing space for more than a year. We have worked with a dozen companies to produce prototypes of actual products and visualizations. HVTDC's services include 3D CAD/CAM design to help a company transform an idea into a prototype or product. Much of our work is powered by New Paltz interns under the supervision and mentoring of seasoned design engineers. New Paltz's collaboration with MakerBot will greatly enhance the 3D printing universe in this new center of innovation here in the Hudson Valley.  Read more.
