Retired Detective
Speaker |
Texas has consistently ranked as the state with the 2nd highest reported instances of human trafficking. In fact, it is estimated that 20% of all human trafficking victims in United States travel through Texas, primarily on our Interstate 10 corridor. Combatting the black market of human trafficking is a challenging and complex issue, from beginning (How do we detect it?) to end (What legal changes need to happen to stop it?).
Join the Fort Worth Chapter of the Hispanic Women's Network for an important evening of training and awareness with one of our most experienced local resources, retired detective Manny Reyes.

Join us as we celebrate our past and help support our future. Our signature fundraising event, ¡Hasta Los Muertos Bailan!, supports HWNT-FW and its Latinas in Progress (LIP). LIP is an educational program introducing and preparing high school senior girls for college life.
