Clutch City Counsel Recap & Photos

Clutch City Counsel at Mr. Peeples with the General Counsels of the Astros, Rockets, Texans, and Dynamo/Dash was a huge success. It was impressive to see this group together up on stage and hear how they achieved a career in law and sports and what their biggest challenges are as general counsels of Houston's professional sports teams. Thank you to our speakers: Astros General Counsel, Giles Kibbe; Rockets' General Counsel, Rafael Stone; Texans' General Counsel, Suzie Thomas; Texans' Associate General Counsel, Greg Kondritz; and Dynamo/Dash General Counsel, Lance Eversole. Our Clutch City Counsel co-chairs and moderators did a remarkable job putting together this event. Thank you, Patrick McMillin and Kurt Krolikowski! Thank you to the Generation Generosity Committee for collecting donations of coats and winter clothing items at Clutch City Counsel to donate to the Beacon. Pictures courtesy Vicky Pink Productions.  10 Volunteers Needed to Deliver Lunch & Interact with Patients in the Spinal Cord Unit at the VA Hospital on March 9th

As part of HYLA's Generation Generosity community service efforts, we are looking for 10 HYLA volunteers to serve lunch and interact with the patients in the spinal cord unit at the VA Hospital on Wednesday, March 9th. Please contact Nate Walton at natewalton12@gmail.com or (281) 914-2356 if you are interested and available to volunteer. Many of the patients are not able to leave their rooms so the volunteers will help deliver to each patient's room and chat for a few minutes. Please share with anyone that you think may be interested in volunteering! Even though it is short notice and spring break, we are confident we can get 10 volunteers so that we can accommodate the hospital's schedule.

We are proud to partner with Soldiers' Angels for this event. Please check out their website if you have a moment at http://soldiersangels.org/
