Nearly Home!
Mike and Patty were accepted into the Habitat Partner Family program in September 2013. Years ago they owned their own home and business but fell on hard times when Patty had a massive seizure. They learned she had epilepsy and this was the beginning of having seizures on a regular basis. They had to sell everything they owned to pay off the medicals bills that were piling up and lost their home too.
We will be dedicating their new Habitat home on February 26th and would love to have you join in the celebration! see below for more info- RSVP by the 12th

Every year we do a build trip to help another Habitat Affiliate around the world. This year our trip is to Nicaragua.
Robin writes: "And we are off!! By the time you get this email, we will be on the construction site in San Rafael del Sur, Nicaragua building a house out of concrete block for a needy family. Ugh! I hope everyone has been lifting weights to prepare!
Actually, there are projects for ALL skill levels and abilities so no one will feel left out. The temperatures will be nearing 90, with high humidity.
We are excited to meet the new homeowners, the children of the neighborhood who always come to inspect us and then after a day or so want to play ball with us, the masons who will lead our project and the Habitat Nicaragua staff. We will have LOTS of time to brush up on our Spanish!
We will have time to tour the Masaya Volcano, Managua and areas all around San Rafael del Sur. And hopefully, some time to play on the beach!
If you are interested in learning more about our annual adventures of building for Habitat families around the world, please contact me,
Robin Cooper or 541.385.5387."
