Hall Estill Adds Denver Attorney to Food and Agribusiness Team

Andy Romanow

Hall Estill, Oklahoma's leading law firm, is expanding its Denver office to add to its Food and Agribusiness practice, assisting clients in the areas of agricultural lending and investment documentation. The team will be led by one of the nation's most accomplished attorneys in this field, Andrew "Andy" Romanow.

"Food and Agribusiness counsel is both one of the most complex and sought after services in our firm's geographic footprint," said Mike Cooke, managing partner for Hall Estill.  "Bringing on Andy and his tremendous experience in this area will allow us to even better serve our clients' needs with the highest caliber of legal counsel and advice."

Within his practice, Andy represents banks, financial institutions, opportunity funds and other lenders. Between stints in private practice, Andy served as Deputy General Counsel and later VP and Managing Counsel for CoBank, ACB, a Denver based Agricultural Bank.

Andy now assists lenders and investors on issues of commercial loan structuring and documentation, syndications and participations, debt financing and restructuring, bankruptcy, foreclosure, collateral recovery, commercial collection and Uniform Commercial Code compliance. Further, Andy also helps entrepreneurs and entities with a wide variety of general corporate matters, including corporate formation and governance issues, transaction matters and strategic planning.

"It is a great honor to join Hall Estill and its strong roster of attorneys," said Romanow. "With respect to the firm's Food and Agribusiness practice, I am happy to join a team which strives every day to know and care more about its clients and their businesses than any of our competitors."

The addition of Romanow to Hall Estill's Denver office is just the latest expansion for the firm's footprint in the Colorado region.

"When we opened the Denver office in April of this year our largest practice areas revolved around Oil & Gas and Intellectual Property law," said Cooke. "The expansion of our Food and Agribusiness team is just another step toward bringing the broad range of expertise areas we are known for in the Oklahoma and Texas markets to the Denver region."

Hall Estill is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and since its inception has expanded from one office in Tulsa to having a presence in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Nashville, Northwest Arkansas and Denver.
