Your Monthly News & Updates
It’s been a very busy couple of months for Foster Change. Starting with our wonderful back to school event and our great support groups. If you haven’t been to one they are the third Tuesday of every month. Please join us for dinner, support and most important friendship. We do offer babysitting. We have lots of upcoming events to take us through the holidays. Halloween is next, and I know my kids can't wait!

It’s also been a time to reflect what’s really most important to us all. The tragedy here in Las Vegas has made me more aware to give everybody I love an extra hug daily. So my message would be to continue to do the good work we do as caregivers it’s the hardest job ever! I hope to see you at one of the many events, trainings, or support groups we will be offering in the coming months.

Warmly,
Audrey Rosenstein, Foster Change President

Hispanic Heritage Month
October is Hispanic Heritage Month. Learning about cultures is important for children to build relationships as they grow.

We live in a very diverse population and we may even be caring for children that have a Hispanic background.

Hispanic Heritage Month is to celebrate contributions of Hispanic and Latinos. Take for example Frida Kahlo, who was a famous artist known for her self portraits. Her art is still celebrated today. More about Frida.
