Halloween season is in full swing, and here at JEL we have some great events coming up!  No registration is necessary for any of our programs. Read on for more info:
 
Goblins and Giggles: Stories for a Halloween Eve with Rona Leventhal

Storyteller Rona Leventhal will present an engaging, rich and FUN storytelling performance comprising of her repertoire of multi-cultural stories of the "anticipatory" sort for the 

5-8 year old crowd!

Illustrated History of Edgar Allan Poe with Paul Macek

The Jacob Edwards Library is pleased to present author Paul Macek who has just released a wonderful book on the life and work of Edgar Allan Poe. Along with co-presenter Jim Morrison, Macek will discuss the book and Poe's life.


 

What could be a better time to discuss Poe than at Halloween? Please join us to transport yourself into Poe's life!

The Hanging Judge with author Michael Ponsor
Please join us for a reading of this debut thriller, set in Massachusetts and based on the author's own experiences as a federal judge. A Q&A session and book signing will follow Ponsor's reading.
