Hamilton Healthy Workplaces
The focus of this HTAB project is to promote a healthy community by promoting healthy workplace environments and practices to both employers and employees. On December 2, 2010 HTAB partnered with the City of Hamilton, Public Health Department, and Trivaris to present "The Bottom-line Benefits of a Healthy Workplace" featuring keynote speaker Dr. Linda Duxbury. Downloads of Dr. Duxbury's presentation and resources for employers and employees can be found at www.hamiltonhealthyworkplaces.ca
Monthly Employer Survey
deal You count: Be part of our survey. Are you a local employer who wants to support Hamilton's workforce development? Each month we send a brief, four question survey to local employers. There is a lack of timely local labour market information in Hamilton and the survey provides much needed information. Employers are asked if their sector is stable, hiring, or laying off. Be part of the next survey, which will be send out on January 11, 2011. Visit the HTAB site for more details about the survey.
We hope that you find the information provided in this newsletter to be of use to your business or organization. Our next newsletter will be delivered to your inbox on January 11, 2011. Have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
