Children's Trip to Fantasy Lake

Rising 1-6 graders are invited to join us for a fellowship trip to Fantasy Lake Water Park on Tuesday, August 7. We will depart from Central at 8:30 AM and return at 4:30 PM. Cost is $20, and 8 chaperones are needed. Please contact Kim Dowd (662-3218) to register or if you are willing to chaperone. Children must register and pay by Thursday, August 2; we will be unable to add participants after that date. Transportation will be provided on church buses, so space is limited. Durant Children's Center Collection

Central's children will be collecting individual snacks and drinks for children who are served by the Durant Children's Center. All members of the congregation are welcome to donate items for children who come to the center for medical exams, interviews, or therapy. Any of the following would be appreciated: small bottles of water, juice boxes or pouches, individual servings/packages of cookies, pretzels, Cheez-its, Goldfish, crackers or chips. Please place your donations in the collection bins in the Commons Area. Thank you for supporting this special project!

Short-term Bible Study

A short-term Bible study will be offered in the coming weeks on Sundays from 10:15-11:00 a.m. for those not currently in a Sunday school class. There will be rotating leaders and lots of discussion! Please contact Meg Jiunnies (662-3218) if you would like more information. Suggestions for subject matter are very welcome, as are people in all ages and stages of life. This is a great option for those not always able to attend Sunday school classes.

Amish Country Trip

The Jr./Sr. group is sponsoring a 4-day/3-night trip to the Amish Country November 26-29 including: motor coach transportation, dinner & a Broadway production at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, two full breakfasts, an Amish horse-drawn buggy ride & tour of the countryside, dinner at an Amish home, the "Sight & Sound Theatre" production "JONAH," shopping at the outlets, a traditional Lancaster dinner at the Good'N'Plenty restaurant, lodging for three nights, and more!
