TULSA, Okla. (September 7, 2017) Coming together for three nights of racing this weekend, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products will go head-to-head with the ASCS Mid-South Region for a combination of events in Oklahoma and Arkansas totaling a combined $6,500 to win, $950 to start.

Starting on Friday, September 8 at Flint Creek Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla. the Red River Region of the American Sprint Car Series will take center stage for added purse money on Barnett's Dairyette Night at the Races. Upping things to $2,500 to win, $350 to start, Friday is also fan appreciation night with a driver meet and greet during Intermission on the front stretch of the quarter-mile oval. An attempt at action earlier this year was met by wet weather.

Saturday, September 9 at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. the Mid-South and Red River Regions will combine for $2,000 to win, $300 to start. The two series met at I-30 Speedway already this season with Derek Hagar picking up the win on April 1 in the Mid-South Region's first show since 2007.

Fans can also be a part of Saturday's efforts to gather supplies for those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey with a donation. Admission is $15, but with a donation will be $12. According to I-30 Speedway Promoter, Tracey Clay, the track is asking specifically for, "Bottled Water, Canned Food, Crackers with cheese or Peanut Butter, Hand Wipes, packs of Kleenex, Dental Floss, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Hand Sanitizer, Socks, Underwear, T-Shirts (all sizes, men, women & children), Diapers, Suitcases, and Backpacks."

Rolling to the ASCS Mid-South Region on Sunday, September 10, the series returns to Diamond Park Speedway in Murfreesboro, Ark. with another $2,000 to win, $300 to start feature event. Brian Bell was the class of the field in the ASCS Mid-South Region's event on July 2.

For the regional tours, the ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products is led by Alex Sewell with the ASCS Mid-South Region begin paced by Brian Bell, who is looking to recover from a vicious crash at Hattiesburg Speedway this past Friday that sent the No. 23b sailing through the catch fence and into the side of another driver's rig. While Sewell holds a commanding 176 point advantage in Red River standings, the Mid-South Region is still anyone's game as 15 points are all that separate Bell from Andy McElhannon.

Friday, September 8 at Flint Creek Speedway opens at 6:00 p.m. with Hot Laps at 7:30 p.m. with the night's card including USRA Modifieds, B-Mods, Grand Nationals, and Pure Stocks. Admission is only $15 with kids 6-12 admitted for $10. Children five and under are free into the Grandstands. TULSA, Okla. (September 7, 2017) Getting down to the final point's paying event of the 2017 season, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region returns to competition on Friday, September 8 to kick off the Big Sky Super Nationals presented by Tractor and Equipment Co. at Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont.

Going into the Friday showdown, Montana's David Hoiness holds a 102 point advantage over Wyoming's Rich Martin. At that advantage, Hoiness must draw in on Friday night to lock up his first Brodix ASCS Frontier Region Championship with the worst case for Hoiness still giving him the title by two markers.

In the series last visit to the Gallatin Speedway, the No. 27dd parked in Victory Lane for his lone win of the season. Vying for the 2017 Rookie of the Year, Rich Martin has locked up that honor.

While a non-point event for the Frontier Region, Mindy McCord goes into the weekend off a career best third place finish during the Montana Round-up at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. this past weekend. Robert DeHaan holds fourth in tour standings with Damon McCune making the top-five. Despite missing some events due to injury, Jeremy McCune has rebounded to sixth with Shad Petersen, Clint Anderson, Ned Powers, and Lany Reber making the top-ten in series standings.

Friday, September 8 at Gallatin Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT) and includes IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Super Stocks, and Street Stocks. The site of Jonathan Cornell's $4,000 score this past Sunday night in a thriller of an A-Feature with Brian Brown, the series top point earner has been at the Eldon, Mo. oval 11 times this season with 10 top-five finishes and 11 top-tens to go along with a pair of wins.

Miles Paulus sits runner-up in tour standings with Danny Thoman, Tony Bruce, Jr., and Randy Martin to round out the top-five.
