Our Missions Committee has wonderful plans for 2018 to fulfill the Great Commission! 10k Step Challenge

Come & Go Communion

Join us each Sunday in the Sanctuary for open communion between 9:00-9:30am. This will be a come and go opportunity, where you can take communion and have a time of prayer and reflection. A pastor will be present for prayer.

Angel Tree Christmas  Party

Capitol Sounds Concert Band

Capitol Sounds Concert Band will present "Sounds of Christmas" on Thursday, December 14 at 7:30pm at Saint James UMC. They will perform Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite", Alfred Reed's "Russian Christmas Music", and a selection commissioned by the United States Marine Band, "A Rhapsody on Christmas Carols". In addition, the band will perform such holiday favorites as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "Good Swing Wenceslas", and more. The event is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted and will go to the Children's Concert in February and other future performances. For more info: www.capitolsounds.org.


This Christmas, have a poinsettia placed in the church in honor or memory of someone dear to you. Poinsettias will decorate the sanctuary December 17-24 and may be picked up after Christmas Eve services. $10/each. Order by December 10 with laurah@sjlife.com
